Happy Gilmore nonetheless has it.
Adam Sandler took to social media on Tuesday to have fun the 25th anniversary of maybe the best golf film ever made, and his trademark swing appears to be like higher than ever.
“OK, it’s been 25 years since I’ve done this,” Sandler stated. “Let’s see what happens. I’m scared. Shooter McGavin, this is for you.
“And I’m not mendacity to you, that’s smashed. Smashed. That went fairly properly. You’re useless Shooter.”
The fact that Sandler still has that swing from “Happy Gilmore” down decades later is impressive. It even gives PGA Tour pros — and Ray Romano — trouble at times.
Shooter McGavin fires back
Now, Sandler didn’t have all the fun on Tuesday.
Shooter McGavin — Gilmore’s nemesis on Tour, played by Christopher McDonald — had the perfect response.
The two look more than ready to rekindle the rivalry on the PGA Tour Champions.
