SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) – Narrow fairways, thick tough, and funky circumstances will problem the sector once they tee off at the primary U.S. Women’s Open to be held at San Francisco’s iconic Olympic Club this week.
The 76th version of the key will start on Thursday and nobody is anticipating a simple journey across the Lake Course, which is regularly blanketed in cool coastal fog and gusty winds this time of yr.
“It’s tough, man. It’s a beast,” San Francisco resident and 2014 champion Michelle Wie West instructed reporters on Tuesday.
