Methodist women pull off comeback win at NCAA Division III National Championship

Once once more, Methodist’s women are the NCAA Division III nationwide champions in women’s golf, having edged Carnegie Mellon on May 14 at Forest Akers West Golf Course in East Lansing, Michigan, to win their 14th nationwide title.

The week – significantly the ultimate spherical – was a battle for Methodist. The Monarchs had some floor to make up on the ultimate day however began chipping away at Carnegie Mellon’s lead early. Methodist erased a four-shot deficit within the first six holes.

At 79 over for 72 holes, Methodist completed 5 pictures forward of Carnegie Mellon.

George Fox was third and Redlands rounded out the highest 5.
