With the prospect to win his first main championship in eight years, Phil Mickelson is not taking any possibilities.

Even when these possibilities appear ridiculous.

As he ready to hit his method shot on the fourth gap Saturday at Kiawah Island through the third spherical of the PGA Championship, Mickelson stepped away from the ball and appeared bothered.

The microphones picked him up saying: “Can you please move that drone from my flight? Not only is it annoying, but it’s gonna hit it.”

He wasn’t joking.

He was 187 yards from the outlet with the drone hovering above the inexperienced. While it appeared like his probabilities of hitting a tiny TV drone a number of hundred yards within the distance have been astronomical, you get to name the photographs while you’re the chief.

And Mickelson is thought for making some quirky requests throughout play.

Sure sufficient, the drone obliged and moved out of his sightline, permitting him to hit his shot with peace of thoughts. After all that, the shot wound up in a bunker for one in all his few missed greens of the day early on.

No hurt finished, although. He made his par and continued to increase his lead over the sphere.

Mickelson goes for his sixth profession main title and all eyes — and drones —can be squarely targeted on him the remainder of the weekend.
