Golf players also often wear gloves that help grip the club and prevent blistering. Gloves are sold individually and normally worn only on the players’ non-dominant hand, but it is not unheard-of for a player to wear gloves on both hands to reduce chafing. The enlarged grip and control allows for harder swings to be made with more control, increasing distance.
G/FORE’s design and array of colour delivers on comfort and style. With premium AA Cabretta leather in a precision cut and embroidered patch detail, the G/FORE golf glove is unparalleled in construction, quality and fit. The gloves, which conform with USGA rules, are worn by Ricky Barnes (PGA Tour), Robert Rock (European Tour), Alex Cejka (European Tour), Shingo Katayama (Japan Golf Tour), Tommy Armour III (Champions Tour), Kathleen Ekey (LPGA Tour) & world-renowned golf instructor Rick Smith. Add colour to your game with G/FORE.
A driving glove is a hand covering, typically constructed of very thin, soft leather, used to give a driver increased control of the vehicle through enhanced grip of the steering wheel and gear stick. The grain present on the leather and the pores present in the leather give the gloves the unique ability to assist the wearer as they grip the steering wheel and gear stick. As soft as a leather glove may be, its pores and grain provide a level of friction when “gripped” against an item or surface.
The gloves usually have separate sheaths or openings for each finger and the thumb. They are designed for holding a steering wheel. These gloves also provide a good feel and add comfort to the hands. They fit tightly, and do not interfere with the hands’ movements. The increased grip allows for more control and increased safety at high speeds.
