As event officers inch nearer to full capability on the PGA Tour, the Memorial has taken the unprecedented step of providing COVID-19 vaccinations subsequent week at Muirfield Village.
The Memorial, which plans to have someplace between 50 and 100% of full capability, will offer fans Johnson & Johnson vaccines, June 4-6, to fans on-site at Muirfield Village.
“This is a perfect way to enjoy the world’s best golfers, and all that the Memorial Tournament has to offer, while also helping more Ohioans get vaccinated,” Dan Sullivan, the event’s government director stated.
The PGA Tour not too long ago relaxed its coronavirus protocols for any participant, caddie or official who’s vaccinated. Vaccinated people are now not required to be examined or put on a masks inside or exterior whereas at a event.
