With a Ryder Cup mentality, Scottie Scheffler knocks out a pair of Europe’s best

AUSTIN, Texas – Scott Scheffler has watched sufficient U.S. Ryder Cup loses to know what he was up in opposition to Saturday on the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. He couldn’t wait.

Scheffler’s morning efficiency was Poulter-esque with the American enjoying the entrance 9 in a bogey-free 3 underneath for a 2-up lead earlier than pulling away with 4 consecutive birdies, beginning at No. 10, to shut out the Englishman, 5 and 4.
